This book is amazing for finding solutions you can do to stop climate change, whether it's small things that take 5 minutes; or big things that take longer, but have a larger impact on reducing your carbon footprint. This book has 77 skills and tips for fighting against climate change.
This book is great for connecting biodiversity and climate change, and how they need to be brought to attention. It is an eye-opener to the serious problems going on and provides solutions.
This book connects racial injustice with climate change, and how some people aren't being heard. This is definitely a good read for any activists trying to speak up to the government. and especially focuses on how energy consumption is harming the world.
This book is a collection of poetry by 60 leading women climate activists, speaking their minds on global warming. For any climate activists wanting to be heard, this is definitely a great read.
This book uses statistics and hard facts to show and speak up about what is happening. It shows how hope is not lost, and if we work hard enough, we can persevere through this difficult time.
Last, but certainly not least, this book collects some of Greta Thunberg's most notorious speeches into one book. Greta Thunberg is a youth climate activist that has gone on strikes, protests, and speeches to make a change in the government's issues. She helps lead the youth generation of global activists to a new light and shows them that they are not too small to make a difference (hence, the name). For anyone (especially the youth), this is a must-read for providing a new perspective on the critical issues the government is turning a blind eye to.

Before you go more on your Sustainability journey, it's important to know what a Carbon Footprint is, and some simple ways to help reduce it by BBC News. This video is only 3:41 minutes; but packs a lot into it!
As you probably have already noticed, I use the word "sustainable" quite a lot throughout this website, so, to define what I mean when I say "sustainability," I'll let UCLA do the talking.
You may hear people say that with our carbon emissions and our high carbon footprints, the earth will warm 3 Degrees hotter. While that may not seem significant, this video by "The Economist" puts into perspective the natural consequences this could lead to.
Lastly, here is a short 8-minute video with Sir David Attenborough and WWF International introducing a plan for saving our world from climate change.
"Almost Zero Waste" is just what you think I'd be about—zero waste! They have food recipes, clothing brands, and resources for practically everything about reaching zero waste (or almost).
This website from the United Nations brings more of a perspective on what climate change is, with many other extended videos and resources that you can trust.
This site from NASA provides statistics, information on the causes and effects, and up-to-date news about climate change straight to your computer.
The Environmental Protection Agency provides more information on climate change.
For grades 5-8, this website is for you. This article by National Geographic is great for learning everything about climate change. While it is easy to read, it is packed to the brim with information and news about climate change.
For parents wanting to teach their kids about climate change, this is the best website, created by NASA.
Of Course, there is so much more information out there that you can explore on your own, but now that we have a clear understanding of Climate Change, it's time to take the next step to sustainability!
